A vampire who can drink from exactly one bloodline is starving beside the last living member of it, a woman who despises him, and neither can survive the other’s death, so the season is a contract they must renegotiate before one of them breaks.
Ambrose Keel is a hundred and ninety years old and repairs clocks on Cutler Row between midnight and dawn. His kind digests exactly one bloodline and no other, and the line he was born to drink from is down to one living member: Wren Ashcombe, twenty-seven, a radiographer on the night shift at a hospital two streets away who has hated him since she was nine. Her blood does not clot; his venom is the only thing that closes it. Neither of them can survive the other’s death and neither of them chose the arrangement, which was made by their families two generations ago and paid for by Wren’s mother in millilitres. He is starving, she is bleeding, and the only thing between them is a contract they have to keep renegotiating. Nobody in this story is taken from; everything in it is negotiated, and both of them keep a copy.

- Episode hook map for episodes 1-10: the closing beat of each episode
- Three written scene samples

Part B – the storyboard
- Episodes 1-5 broken down panel by panel
- Every panel gives shot size, camera move, panel duration, the drawn action, the dialogue, the sound cue and the transition out
- Panel budget for episodes 1-20 with effect and motion counts
- Full art asset list: character sheets, background plates, props and effect overlays, with reuse notes

Production notes
- Cast: 8 speaking roles, 4 principal (1 male, 3 female), 4 supporting
- Backgrounds: 6 standing backgrounds: Ambrose’s workshop, the shop street, a notary office, a hospital corridor, a hospital supply room, the Fifth Hour cellar; 2 swing backgrounds
- Key props: Two drinking glasses, a phlebotomy kit, a four-page contract, a brass clock movement, a snapped mainspring, an amber venom vial, the Ashcombe ledger
- Cost tier: Mid – the workshop and the hospital both need believable dressing in every episode, and the clinical props must be right
- Art assets: 26 character sheets (4 principal x 4 expressions x 2 poses, plus 10 supporting), 8 background plates with 3 parallax layers each, 16 prop cutouts, 10 effect overlays (venom shimmer, blood turning black, clock-hand drift, fluorescent flicker)

Format note: this is a complete development package for a vertical motion-comic series, not a finished shooting script. Episodes 1-5 carry full panel dialogue; from episode 6 the budget and hook map carry the beats and you write in your own register.
