A licensed courier who rents her strength from the city grid falls three months into arrears and takes one last recovery job to clear the debt, then finds the warrant in her hand is written in her own registration number.
Marisol ‘Sol’ Okada, thirty-one, has carried a licensed cell in her left forearm for nine years and paid the grid bill on time for eight of them. Then a night she was seen – a fight on a crowded tram platform, filmed on a hundred phones – moved her into the top billing band and she has been three months in arrears ever since. The Utility does not sue. It offers its debtors work: recover other people’s cells, and the recovered wattage credits your account. Sol takes the work because it is the only job a delinquent can get. Her first recovery of the month turns out to be a nine-year-old girl whose mother signed the licence, and the girl’s cell is worth almost exactly what Sol owes. What nobody at the Utility expects is that Sol will start reading the paperwork instead of paying it.

- Episode hook map for episodes 1-10: the closing beat of each episode
- Three written scene samples

Part B – the storyboard
- Episodes 1-5 broken down panel by panel
- Every panel gives shot size, camera move, panel duration, the drawn action, the dialogue, the sound cue and the transition out
- Panel budget for episodes 1-20 with effect and motion counts
- Full art asset list: character sheets, background plates, props and effect overlays, with reuse notes

- Key props: grafted cell (three states: charged, spent, grey), forearm meter readout, warrant folio, Utility truck, payphone handset
- Cost tier: Mid – rain and neon ask for parallax plates, but the grid is one reusable light overlay over unchanged backgrounds
- Art assets: 34 character sheets (5 principal x 4 expressions x 2 poses, plus 9 supporting), 10 background plates with 3 parallax layers each, 16 prop cutouts, 9 effect overlays (cell glow, meter tick, witness-second rings, arrears curves)
